As Northerners living in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, Canada, we maintain a deep respect and appreciation for the Inuit and their unique artwork. Living in relatively close proximity, we travel to various remote Northern Inuit communities to purchase the finest works directly from Inuit artists and local cooperatives. We have spent time with most of the Inuit artists featured in North Star Inuit Gallery and have watched the completion of many carvings. With this intimate connection, we are thrilled to discover the meaning and inspiration behind the Inuit carvings and share this knowledge with our clients.
